Tips & Tricks (5)
- Oil Distribution is Key 🧈Use melted butter instead of oil for better seasoning adhesion, and ensure every cracker is lightly coated by shaking the bag vigorously for at least 30 seconds to prevent clumping and guarantee even flavor distribution.
- Toast for Extra Crunch ✨After seasoning, spread crackers on a baking sheet and bake at 300°F for 8-10 minutes to dehydrate them slightly, creating an irresistibly crispy texture that intensifies the flavor without burning.
- Balance Your Heat Ratio 🌶️Start with ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes per box and taste-test before adding more—heat builds as crackers cool, so what seems mild warm will become significantly spicier after a few minutes.
- Layering Prevents Seasoning Waste 🎯Add crackers to your bag in batches with seasoning rather than all at once, layering as you go to ensure every single cracker gets coated instead of seasoning settling to the bottom.
- Storage Extends Freshness 🏺Keep finished crackers in an airtight container with a small silica gel packet to maintain crispness for up to two weeks—they'll soften quickly in humidity, so avoid storing in the refrigerator.
