Tips & Tricks (5)
- Cold Brew Concentration is Key ☕Use a stronger cold brew concentrate (1:4 coffee-to-water ratio) rather than regular cold brew to prevent the drink from becoming diluted when cream and condensed milk are added.
- Emulsify Your Cream Properly 🥛Whisk the heavy cream until it reaches soft peaks before mixing with condensed milk—this creates a luxurious, cloud-like texture that won't separate over time.
- Extract Quality Matters 🌿Use pure vanilla extract rather than imitation for a sophisticated flavor; add an extra ¼ teaspoon for depth without overpowering the coffee's natural notes.
- Chill Everything Beforehand ❄️Pre-chill your glasses, cold brew, and cream mixture separately for at least 2 hours so they stay cold longer and the flavors meld beautifully without ice dilution.
- Layer for Visual Appeal & Flavor 🎨Pour cold brew first, then slowly add the vanilla-cream mixture on top to create an Instagram-worthy gradient effect and control sweetness to taste.
